After installing one AT-2500TX card in a Windows ME computer and another AT-2500TX in a Windows 98SE computer that are connected together, the computer with Windows ME is very slow. What can I do to fix this problem?
If you are connecting both computers together without a Hub, make sure you are using a crossover cable. Also, make sure you have NetBeui and File Sharing installed on both workstations. The workgroup needs to be the same name on both workstations.
Check that both workstations are set to Auto Detect in the Line Speed/Duplex Mode under the Advanced tab in the Properties of the 2500TX adapter in Network Control. |
