GUI Management is Not Accessible on the AT-9000 Series Switch

Why can I not connect to the GUI on my AT-9000 series switch?

The following steps apply to the AT-9000/28, AT-9000/28SP, and AT-9000/52.
  1. To troubleshoot issues connecting to the GUI on the AT-9000 series switches listed above, follow these steps:
  2. Ensure that you have assigned an IP address to the switch, and an IP address in the same subnet to the computer you are trying to use for GUI management.
  3. Ensure that you are able to ping between your computer and the switch.
  4. Ensure that the HTTP server is enabled on the switch, enter the commands:
enable
configure terminal
service http

If you are using a web browser and you are able to connect to the GUI, enter the username and password, pull up the main GUI page, but get no further by clicking on any of the configuration tabs, follow the steps below:

Open a browser window
  1. Go to Tools
  2. Go to Internet Options
  3. Click on the Security tab at the top of the window
  4. Change the Security Level for the Internet Zone to Medium-High or Medium
  5. Click on the Apply button at the bottom of the page
  6. Click on the OK button at the bottom of the page
Close this browser window, then open a new window and attempt to connect to the GUI again. You should now be able to navigate through the GUI with the configuration buttons.
